SEM is not only for Adwords - Think Beyond the Line

Most of the people misunderstand and confuse the concept of SEM and they insists that SEM activities only involves Adwords. Actually, the fact is, its just a single part of SEM. But most of the people are not aware of this fact and they think of an Ocean as a Small Pool.

Before explaining the fact, we have to understand what SEO and SEM meant for.

SEO is a bunch of un-paid activities carried out to improve the visibility of your websites in web search engines and in SERP Pages as it is the process of improving value and volume of preferred traffic towards the website from search results of various search engines for targeted key phrases or keywords.

SEM on the other hand involves the sum of paid as well as unpaid Search Engine based/related Online Marketing and Advertising activities as its motto is increasing the web traffic, increasing conversions and taking online actions that leads to a purchase of the product/service.

Blackberry BING Partnership - A New Surprised Move of MSN

On May 3rd, 2011, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and RIM President Mike Lazaridis announces a new business concern between Microsoft and RIM to bring forward Bing search in BlackBerry/RIM devices, at RIM's BlackBerry World conference. As well, those two Technology Giants decided to work in collaboration to market and boost the corresponding offerings of each other

Consequently, new BlackBerry smartphones and the PlayBook tablet will default to making use of Bing conductive to its default search and mapping. Gossips are there that Bing will render its services for Search, Maps, Voice Search, Location-Aware Search, and Panorama Stitching.

Matt Dahlin, a director at Bing, wrote on the Bing Blog:

For us, this goes way beyond a “search box” and links that rank URLs representing a set of web documents. For us, it’s about finding real tools that help real people get things done. Bing is about fast decisions, combining the topical graph with your social graph – as well as the geospatial graph – to connect the real world and the digital universe like never before. Doing this on mobile devices of all sorts is incredibly important to this effort, and our work with RIM will help both companies do great things for customers.
“Bing will actually create real value,” Ballmer explained, but not just as a search option, as it turns out. Bing will also be deeply integrated into BlackBerry experience itself, he said. It will be deeply integrated into the BlackBerry OS itself. “This  goes way beyond search box,” Ballmer said. “It’s about real tools that help real people get things done.”

The standing fact is Microsoft desires to kick BING upstairs, as it is an important weapon for MSN in opposition to Google. With the support of massive ads and advancements altogether with routine improvements and new specialities, the BING Decision Engine is gradually execute its initiations to take particularly US market share from Google.
